Why is it so hard to be vulnerable? Strength lies in vulnerability.  Last night people drove through rush hour rain from San Antonio and all corners of Austin to attend my show at Strange Brew. 

I took risks. I put down my guitar and sang an acappella song about my childhood dog getting hit by a car. What a terrifying rush- just my voice and the microphone, snapping my fingers to a silent room of listeners. Listeners who got it. Listeners who came up after the show and shared stories of their losses, chaos and pain. And we laughed together!

I love this light we carry as humans. Life is messy- we bend, break, and heal. We smile and love big. We are in this together and I'm honored to get to share my light in the best listening rooms in Austin, TX and beyond.
